This is a simple outdoor bench with a design credited to one of the early environmentalists named Aldo Leopold. Made with 2x6 dimensional cedar lumber, it is held together with deck screws and bolts. Using just a drill press ,miter saw, and impact driver drill, with some hand tools for smoothing edges, each participant will take home their own bench. Included will be a Vermont Natural Coatings sealer. Materials included in price.
Class will start with a brief discussion of Leopold and his writings.
