Mastering the Card Scraper

Some woodworking experience recommended.

The card, or cabinet, scraper is a tool that should live in every woodworker's apron. It saves time and leaves little trace of itself compared to hand and power sanding. Making good cuts with a scraper can be learned in minutes. What confounds many woodworkers is how to maintain consistent cutting edges without constantly interrupting your work flow. This class will focus on an easy, repeatable process for keeping your scrapers in top working order. The cost of the class includes a quality card scraper, a burnishing tool, and a diamond sharpening stone. You'll leave with everything you need to take your finishing process to the next level.

Saturday, January 22  9AM - 11:30 AM

$75 *includes card scraper, burnishing tool & diamond stone

Financial aid may be available. Contact info@hatchspace.org for details.
