Some woodworking experience required.

==> Participants must have taken Gail's Beginning Woodworking for Women class, other Intro to Woodworking classes at HatchSpace, or receive specific approval from the instructor.

Class participants will be expected to bring a plan and materials to the first session. Teaching of more advanced joinery, design, processes, and tools will be covered while registrants work on their projects. Instructor will approve individual projects prior to first session. One hour lunch break each day. Bring a bag lunch to eat at HatchSpace, or buy lunch in downtown Brattleboro.

4 Sessions: Saturdays & Sundays
September 10 & 11 and September 17 & 18  |  10am - 5pm

Cost: $412.50 members; $495 supporters; $550 non-members

Instructor: Gail Grycel

Gail Grycel has been a custom cabinetmaker since 1984. The balance of beauty and function exists in her cabinetry and furniture throughout New England. For over twenty years, and in three states, Gail has empowered women and girls through her class offerings in adult learning programs, woodworking courses in  her studio, at HatchSpace, and the Claremont Makerspace, Rosie's Girls summer camp sessions, mixed gender workshops and one on one tutoring. She is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and experience to all who want to explore the love of making things out of wood.

Payment and Refund Policy

Payment is due at the time of registration. Unpaid registrations are subject to cancellation.

Full refunds or a class credit can be provided if you cancel at least 14 days before the start of the class by contacting info@hatchspace.org or by calling 802-257-3935.

There are no refunds, transfers, make-ups or deferments for missed classes. 

HatchSpace reserves the right to cancel any class for any reason. A class may be canceled in the event the minimum number of students for the class is not reached. In this case, registrants will receive a full refund or class credit, and notified by valid email provided at registration.
