HatchSpace is hiring for three part-time positions, including a new summer camp counselor position. Women and historically marginalized people including members of our BIPOC and LGBTQ communities are encouraged to apply.

Lead Summer Camp Counselor
HatchSpace has partnered with Vermont Works for Women to offer 4 weeks of Rosie’s Girls BUILD camp where campers are introduced to carpentry. This hands-on learning experience is a supportive and empowering environment that supports campers in building their social and emotional skills. Rosie’s Girls inspires these girls to build confidence, develop connections with each other, and dream big about their futures.  The Lead Summer Camp Counselor will be responsible for the delivery of this exciting summer camp experience for girls.

Program Assistant
Are you a high energy and nimble self-starter who will thrive in a creative environment? Consider joining the HatchSpace as a Program Assistant where you'll support the Education Manager in growing the organization’s community impact through learning programs.  This on-site position serves as a support person for the day-to-day activities of the Education Manager with occasional direction from the Executive Director. The position requires flexibility to work some evening and weekend events from time to time.

Wood Shop Lead
Do you love being around tools and equipment? Do you have experience managing a busy workshop? Consider joining our team as Shop Lead, overseeing the maintenance of a clean, functional, safe, and reliable shop environment for our members, students, and instructors. Working with the Executive Director with input from staff, volunteers and members the Shop Lead helps HatchSpace understand and respond to the needs of our woodworkers while ensuring a productive and safe work environment.

Wood Shop Assistant
The Shop Assistant expands weekend hours at HatchSpace, supporting a clean, well-organized environment for our members, students, and instructors. Working with direction of the Shop Lead and input from staff, volunteers and members, the Shop Assistant opens HatchSpace on the weekends, provides routine shop maintenance and repairs, and offers support to members. An important success factor in this role is a commitment to excellent customer service in a busy wood shop environment.
