Pony Jorgensen donates tools to support HatchSpace

HatchSpace is proud to recognize the generous support of Pony Jorgensen through a significant donation of professional-grade clamps that are now strengthening HatchSpace’s educational programs.
Through this partnership, Pony Jorgensen has donated an extensive collection of their clamps, including Cabinet Master™ parallel jaw clamps and aluminum and steel bar clamps, which are now in use at HatchSpace in support of career training, woodworking and trades exposure programs. Precision tools like those donated by Pony Jorgensen are essential to effective and professional woodworking instruction, and have already supported HatchSpace’s expanded line-up of intensive and skill-building programs.
“High-quality equipment is fundamental to our effectiveness as a training institution,” said Shelton Walker, Executive Director of HatchSpace. “Pony Jorgensen’s support came at a critical time for us as we expand into longer format career training programs. Their tools have already and will continue to directly impact the confidence, skills, and outcomes of everyone who learns here, and we could not be more grateful for Pony Jorgensen’s support.”
HatchSpace serves a wide range of learners—from beginners to advanced makers—through classes, intensives, and community access to shared workshop space. The donated clamps allow instructors to teach proper joinery, panel glue-ups, cabinet construction, and other foundational techniques without compromise.
The donated tools will be an integral part of HatchSpace’s 2026 slate of new programs, including a soon to be announced intensive in Cabinetry, a summer Carpentry BootCamp for high schoolers, and a Basics in Construction & Job Readiness being offered this spring in partnership with Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation (BDCC).
